This line has been specifically designed for deburring and trimming operations on gears, namely for the removal of burrs and the finishing of tooth profiles after mechanical processing.

The items in the range consist of abrasive discs intended for use on automatic stationary machines, in which the tool is inserted into the gear tooth slot to perform controlled, high‑precision finishing operations.

To ensure that this operation is carried out without altering the geometric profile of the gear or compromising the surface quality of the component, the abrasive discs are manufactured through a specific selection of raw materials and a dedicated production process designed to guarantee structural uniformity, operational stability and consistent performance.

The product’s construction features allow operation at a maximum peripheral speed of 80 m/s, in full compliance with the EN 12413 standard relating to the safety requirements for bonded abrasive tools.

These abrasive discs are manufactured with a double external fibreglass reinforcement mesh, a solution that ensures high structural stability, mechanical strength and operational safety during gear deburring operations.

The standard range includes two different hardness grades, developed according to the type of material to be processed:

1. A60T — specific for deburring operations on steel gears
2. A60M — designed for deburring operations on hardened steel gears

The most commonly used diameters are 65 mm, 80 mm and 100 mm, available in different thicknesses depending on the geometry and size of the gear to be processed.
